There are only four parts plus the posts, which make up this fence. The
panel is open-ended to accept the splice, which simply slides into the ends of the panel
rails. The fence clips secure the panels to the posts. The termination Posts are supplied by the customer. A variety of post materials can be used. We recommend heavy 2.875" OD pipe (such as used oil field pipe) or 4" CCA treated wood posts. With pipe posts, the fence clip will be welded to the post. With wood posts, the fence clip is secured with ring shank nails or screws. Post spacing can vary from 8’ to 12’ depending on livestock, traffic, and fence duty. We also suggest all posts be set in concrete.

Continuous fence is a welded steel
component type, permanent fencing. It is manufactured in 20 foot panels, which are spliced
together and secured to set post. The accompanying drawing very aptly illustrates the
fence assembly.
